Jordan Peters. You may have seen the video where he’s tearing up talking about Christ. It’s clear that he’s struggling to understand and believe. He seems sincere to me. I’m praying for him.

Now imagine that a Christian comes to him at this time and shares the Gospel of Jesus Christ, is willing to meet with him as many times as needed to answer his questions and help disciple him.

Now imagine that a Wokeandian comes to him at this time. What would they offer this man that’s clearly battling with his sin and realization that it all can be paid for in Christ?

Come let us reason

Dear Woke Christian,

My honest desire is for you to desire to look into what you’re being “taught” and compare it to scripture. I’ve said it before, but I believe many CRT supporters don’t expect you to check what they’re saying. Really you shouldn’t even trust what I’m saying. You should desire to know that Christ is being honored that even if an angel came you’d check him against the revealed Word of God.

Let’s play a game. Can you tell me how many unique places you could compare this sermon against scripture? There is more than 1, but the point is for you to think about it and ask “is that what the Bible says”?

So come along with me as we reason together.

The purpose of the Gospel

Dear Woke Christian,

Have you ever wondered why the “gospel” you were taught hasn’t brought about genuine heart change? I will tell you, it’s all law. And bad “law” at that. There’s no Good News.

CRT provides NO ONE with the Gospel. It’s only focus is the now and now. There is no redemption for “sinners” in the CRT “gospel”. Ask yourself why is that?

Old dead friends

Dear Woke Christian,

Take the time to read old, dead Church fathers. I recommend Charles H. Spurgeon first this experiment. Check out any book by the Prince of Preachers and take note of how he talks about “salvation”. He’s so expressive and thankful to be saved and for the gift of eternal life.

Now go read any of your CRT thinkers. Do you get the same awe for the precious gift of Christ? I wonder why they don’t relish their salvation and want to see every and anyone come to saving faith.

Let’s open our Bibles

Dear Woke Christian,

Romans 3:9-20 states a very sobering acknowledgment. No one is righteous, NO ONE. This should really cause us Christians to pause. This is Paul the apostle saying this. If he wasn’t righteous what hope do we have? No one is righteous. 

But thanks be to God that we are righteous…in Christ. Due to His perfect life, sacrifice, and resurrection we’ve been given perfect, spotless righteousness! What a wonderful report!

Though CRT is a cult, a blind squirrel can get an acorn every now and then. Let’s look at the Convergence theory. That theory basically says that Whites are incapable of doing anything righteous act. I have to admit and I think Paul would agree, too. I agree with this. However, I believe Paul would hammer the point even more. No one is righteous, no not one. 

So to my Christian brothers and sisters who’ve fallen into the maw of CRT, how do you accuse an entire people group, some are your brothers and sisters in Christ of ill simply based on their skin color? And a follow-up question, do you treat your own people group with the same condemnation in light of what your read in Romans 3?

I mean it is in the Bible

Dear Woke Christian,

I am not one of those guys who mislabel you as supporting riots and looting. At least I hope you don’t. I’m willing to give you the benefit of the doubt.

My issue and question is when will you speak out against this with the level of passion and angst that you do about “systematic racism”?

I mean you do realize that looting is stealing (Ex 20:15), right? You know since we’re there why not look at verse 16, too. Do you see anything odd with that commandment? The Lord commands His people to NOT bear false witness. Latter He expounds on it and institutes the witness system. Why am I pointing this out? I just want you to think about how easily CRT calls people racists, hateful and the such. With no proof or evidence they just say it. Christian that’s slander and it’s a sin. But hey CRT has a great remedy for sin, right?

Consider the Gospel

Dear Woke Christians,

I beg you to consider the Truth of the Biblical Gospel. Who is Christ and what has He done?

Does CRT offer any hope? Does the Savior of CRT resemble the Biblical Christ at all? Compare what the CRT prognosticators are saying with the Word of God. Don’t discount the wonderful Savior of the Bible for a thrift store throw away of Critical Race Theory.

Maybe we started off on the wrong foot

Dear Woke Christian,

The reason I HATE CRT/SJ so and rail against it so much is because I love Christ. Yes, my love for Christ causes me to hate something.

The unity I have with others is honestly only by His wonderful Grace. That’s why God called it the Body of Christ. CRT is a cancer to our culture and it would do the same to the unity of the Church if left unchecked. So when people try to mix and merge this corrupt, demonic teaching into the Gospel I have to deny it. I have to rail. I have to mock it and call it a farce. I am not going to ease up, but I thought I’d take a second to explain why I approach this topic so.
